Privacy policy
Data controller
Maison Zue (SARL), 28 place de la Bilange, 49400 Saumur, France – SIRET 940 199 607 00018. For any question about your data: +33 2 41 67 48 68 or the contact form.
Data collected and purposes
Contact form: name, email address, phone number and message content. This data is used solely to process and answer your request; it is sent by email to Maison Zue and is not stored on the website. Legal basis: the legitimate interest of the restaurant in replying to enquiries (art. 6.1.f GDPR), or pre-contractual steps where the request concerns a booking or private hire (art. 6.1.b).
Browsing: to deliver the pages and protect the site against attacks, our host processes technical connection data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser). Legal basis: legitimate interest. The site uses no audience measurement, advertising or tracking tools.
No data is used for marketing purposes without your agreement, and none is sold or transferred to third parties. The site carries out no automated decision-making or profiling.
Recipients and processors
Your data is accessible to the management and authorised staff of Maison Zue, and to the following technical providers: Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, delivery and security of the site) and Brevo – Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France (delivery of the messages sent through the form). Google only receives data if you choose to display the Google Maps map on the Contact page.
Cloudflare, Inc. and Google LLC are established in the United States. Any data transfers (in particular of your IP address) are covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which these companies adhere, and by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Fonts are hosted with the website: no data is sent to Google to display them.
Online booking (Zenchef), gift cards (Bonkdo), Instagram and Facebook are reached through plain links to their own websites: any data you enter there is governed by their respective privacy policies.
Retention periods
Messages received via the form: 3 years from the last contact. Technical connection data processed by the host: a limited period, strictly necessary for the security of the service. Choice to display the Google Maps map: 6 months, in your browser. Accounting records relating to a service: 10 years as required by the French Commercial Code.
Cookies and trackers
The site sets no audience-measurement, advertising or social-media cookies and uses no tracker that requires your consent: this is why no cookie banner is displayed. Our host may only set a technical security cookie (“__cf_bm”, 30 minutes) used to protect the site against malicious bots; being strictly necessary, it is exempt from consent. The contact form is also protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks from technical browser signals that the message comes from a person and not a bot, without tracking cookies or advertising use (legitimate interest: site security).
On the Contact page, the Google Maps map is only loaded if you click “Show the map”. This choice is then remembered for 6 months in your browser’s local storage (no cookie, no data sent); Google may then set its own cookies, under its privacy policy. You can withdraw this choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. It is a static website, with no database and no online administration area; form messages are transmitted encrypted and are not stored on the site. Maison Zue implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent loss, alteration or unauthorised access to your data.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing, the right to data portability, the right to withdraw your consent at any time, and the right to give instructions on the fate of your data after your death. To exercise these rights, contact us by phone, through the contact form or by post at the registered office; proof of identity may be requested in case of doubt. You will receive a reply within one month.
If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 – cnil.fr.
